Role Summary:

Reporting the Regional Manager Director, BSMEA with a dotted line to the VP Brand Marketing BSEMIA, the Head of Marketing BSMEA, will be responsible of defining, coordinating and executing the marketing strategy for MEA in full alignment with BSEMIA Marketing Guidelines and MEA strategic priorities. The Head of Marketing will have a transversal role of all marketing activities in the region, ensuring through their team the proper implementation of Brand Platforms Activation, Trade Marketing, Mobility Marketing, Digital Marketing, Pricing and Strategic Planning. Finally the head of Marketing will be responsible of managing and controlling effectively the A&P resources and coordinating activities across the different involved areas & stakeholders both internally and externally.

Trade Marketing: Lead the development and execution of trade marketing strategies and tactical campaigns with our partners/distributors to increase opportunities for end customers to purchase products including incentives and promotions, while also increasing the overall value proposition for both partners and end customers.

Communications and PR: Oversight of both internal and external communications from a marketing perspective including content development. External communications includes Public Relations, Government Relations and CSR. Internally this will include company-wide communications related to organizational strategy and performance.

Branding: defining, coordinating and executing the marketing strategy for MEA in full alignment with BSEMIA Marketing Guidelines and MEA strategic priorities. The Head of Marketing will have a transversal role of all marketing activities in the region, ensuring through their team the proper implementation of Brand Platforms Activation, Trade Marketing, Mobility Marketing, Digital Marketing. Build Media plan through relevant media channels that align with target customer demographics (company website, social media, publications, email, radio/TV, face-to-face) to build compelling narratives and long term business and consumer relationships. Ensuring the consumer experience is in line with both the brand image and strategy, and monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns & tactics.

Strategic Planning: Responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the company’s mission and goals. Determining industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest. Oversees the development of forecasting models that include KPI’s on budgets, resource allocation, business goals, and steer / monitor as required.

Pricing: Develop pricing strategies for the BSMEA portfolio of current and future products across targeted customer/market segments. Leadership of pricing team to ensure clear insights and responsiveness.

Requirements:

To qualify candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 15 years of professional experience and 5 years within a comparable Marketing leadership position.

Proven ability to provide vision and leadership within a diverse matrix environment.
Strong collaborative approach, able to build consensus and lead execution with superior project management skills.
Extensive experience in successfully developing and executing marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
Strong agency management experience with extensive budget forecasting and management expertise.
Creative and able to leverage market intelligence insights to deliver high impact campaigns.
Significant experience in trade marketing, with a strong knowledge of Middle East Markets, with North Africa experience highly beneficial.
Proven track record in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
Highly commercial and able to capitalize on the latest trends and innovations with a particular focus upon digital tools, techniques and best practices.
Prior experience within e-commerce platforms and relevant digital ecosystems.
Superior communications and PR expertise to enhance the BSMEA corporate profile and drive engagement with key initiatives including sustainability.
Strong Social media knowledge to lead BSMEA approach across relevant social platforms.
Proven ability to develop brand strategies and effectively communicate across BSMEA markets.
In-depth strategic planning experience, able to effectively collaborate with leadership teams to develop mid to long terms strategic insights and objectives for the BSMEA organization.
Prior pricing experience in the identification and review of pricing and market trends and adept at the incorporation of pricing analysis into strategies for individual market segments.
Able to monitor business climate, trends in technology and development, and government activity in BSMEA markets and respond accordingly.
Hands-on with excellent analytical and decision-making skills to deliver critical initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Role Summary:The FP&A Analyst will be based in Dubai and report directly to the FP&A Manager, Bridgestone Middle East and Africa (BMSEA). The regional scope will span all BSMEA entities across the Gulf and North Africa. This critical position will be responsible for in depth financial analysis of all BSMEA business operations and distributors. This will include preparation of management reporting, financial and economic forecasting, to provide timely insights to inform strategic and tactical decision making. You will establish close working relationships with all functions, in particular those within Sales and Marketing, and colleagues within branch offices in Saudi, Egypt, Morocco and Jordan. You will also assume an integral role within the broader finance function through contributing to the annual budget cycle and the development and review of business plans, including OPEX efficiency and market feasibility analysis.

 

Requirements:

 

To qualify candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with at least 2 – 3 years within external audit, and 2 – 3 years in industry. An MBA / MSC is advantageous.

  • Superior analytical skills with proven ability to develop, review and interpret financial data to derive strategic insights.
  • Significant exposure to long and short term forecasting techniques within a highly dynamic environment.
  • Experience of working within a fast paced, matrix structure with a highly commercial focus.
  • Prior experience with the Middle East is a prerequisite with experience covering North Africa beneficial.
  • Strategic problem solver with a critical approach and highly results orientated.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and influence at all levels.
  • Thrives in a multicultural and diverse international environment.
  • Fluency in English with additional relevant languages beneficial.

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to lead the retail strategy of 60 across the MEA region. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of managing a retail network and knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing, finance and procurement. The goal is to support BSMEA partners in the region to manage their retail network as a profitable and sustainable business as well as expand the foot print of the Bridgestone Family Channel network,

enhancing brand visibility in the region as well as getting a fair share of the market. The role demands operational experience in managing mobile services and acting as the catalyst to this emerging concept within the Bridgestone partner equity network. Exposure to ecommerce and digital solutions will be an added advantage that will be essential to onboard Bridgestone partners into the phygital ecosystem.
Main responsibilities & key activities:

Mobility Solutions – Transformation from the Brick & Mortar to Phygital ecosystem

To spearhead the transformation process with the partner equity network by rolling out BS initiatives in mobility solutions and digital commerce
To nurture Mobility solutions MOBOX launched in the region and expand into the new markets.
To develop the go to market approach for the digital commerce project in the region.

To play a key role in the development of EV network in the region and conceptualize the business model that would ensure a revenue stream through monetization of EV charging and EV car servicing.
Retail Business Consultant to our Partners driving profitable growth in Partner equity

To liaison with partners and understand the pain points and challenges of the partner retail network and offer practical and solutions to turnaround non profitable store to profitable and sustainable point of sales.
Conducts audits and evaluations at the stores on the customer journey and process and procedures to ensure that partner network is customer centric and offers a delightful customer experience.

Analysis of Sales reports and work hand in hand with partners to make the transformation from a tire centric business to diversified portfolio of products and services increasing the revenue stream and adding to the bottom line.
Analysis of Financial statements and guide partners on areas of improvement by deep diving into margins, opex and opportunity of rebates through centralized procurement
Expanding the Retail Footprint for Bridgestone:

To liaison with BS team and partners in the region and identify white spots in the territory and recommend potential pockets to expand the footprint in the region.
To evaluate the proposal put forward, evaluate the in house share for BS and share of HRD and HRD+ and approve the recommendations into the BS Family Channel.

To monitor the progress of the Family Channel projects in terms of adherence to Brand guidelines, budgets and audits and ensure payments are effected as per the MOU.
To keep a tight leash on the OPEX of the PBU and manage the projects well within the approved budgets.

As the Catalyst promoting Remote Services

To motivate partners in offering remote services to customers – through pick and drop services or through mobile services vans.
To guide partners on the selection of equipment, vehicle and layout for the mobile service van and operational guidelines to run the mobile service van efficiently.
To offer the best practices to make mobile service van operations of partners a successful and sustainable business model
